Returns

We hope that you will love your Truly Cool garment but have no fear if this is not the case we are happy to accept returns for a full refund or exchange. Notification of your desire to return should be sent by email within 7 days of receipt of the goods. The goods should be received back to us within 14 days of you receiving them and accompanied by the original invoice. All tags must be intact, and packaging undamaged. The garment should be unworn and in its original condition.

The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs. We advise the use of an insured service as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit. Once goods are received back we will send a notification of their safe receipt. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card as soon as possible but no later than 14 days.

To return an item, please email info@trulycoolbeachwear.com with your order number, the items you will be returning and reason for the return.

Truly Cool is more than a look. It’s a feeling. It’s the smell of the salty ocean, the breeze on the shoreline, and the free spiritedness of Summer.

A brand that was born out of a desire to find unique, glamorous beach clothing which was comfortable to wear and wouldn’t cost the earth. My first priority being that all the garments would be made from natural fabrics such as cotton, linen, viscose and silk which would be... light, breathable and TRULY COOL.

I guess my passion for boho beach style started on holidays to Ibiza in the 60’s & 70’s when the full on hippy vibe was in its hey day. Stunning beach styles, Pom poms, tassel trims, vibrant colours and the de rigueur straw basket.

Perfect childhood holidays ... day trips in our convertible fiat 500 to Sandy beaches for roast chicken and crisp picnics in the sunshine.

I’m a Sagittarius and true to my sign born with a passion for travel. I have been very fortunate to have taken many exotic, wonderful trips both near & far from Cornwall to the Coromandel peninsular. Having a fair Celtic skin I have always needed to cover up for part of the day…..mmm honestly …a bit shy too! No beach bar lunches in a bikini for me!

I eventually got fed up that everything I loved was high-end designer so prohibitively expensive and usually dry clean only so not practical. The other options were mass produced for the high street or made from nasty synthetics which would do nothing but insulate the heat and make me miserable.

I was so delighted when eventually I discovered some unique designs. These dresses are a joy to wear, made from the finest 100% Turkish cotton decorated with hand crochet cotton trims. No mass production here – just coverups with a bit of a twist. All the fish and flower embellishments are hand crochet by lovely smiley ladies in their Turkish homes who work at their own pace. The dresses are individually decorated so no two are the same.

The collection has now grown to incorporate a beautifully curated range of unique designs from around the world. All our pieces are produced by artisans in tiny quantities and exclusive to Truly Cool Beachwear in the UK.

The range of luxury kaftans are produced for me in India and each design is strictly limited to 15 pieces.
